Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WealthIris’s platform and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including firms, advisors, and administrators.
Description of Services
WealthIris provides a natural language query interface that connects to your wealth management platform (currently Black Diamond, with additional integrations available by request) to retrieve and surface portfolio data. WealthIris does not store, modify, or take custody of your client data.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You must not share your credentials or allow others to access the platform through your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use WealthIris only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use our services to violate any applicable laws or regulations, infringe the rights of others, transmit harmful or malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or third-party systems.
Data and Integrations
By connecting your wealth management platforms to WealthIris, you authorize WealthIris to query those systems on your behalf using read-only API access. You represent that you have the authority to grant this access. WealthIris will not modify, delete, or write data to your connected platforms.
Intellectual Property
WealthIris and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the platform, software, and documentation. These terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or proprietary technology except as expressly permitted. Your data remains your property at all times.
Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public information received from the other party and to use such information only for the purposes contemplated by these terms. This obligation survives termination of your use of the service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WealthIris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate your access to the service at any time with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. We will provide you with a reasonable opportunity to export any data you have stored with us.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
